The traditional meal served in Italian households on Christmas Eve
Said to be named for the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church.
It is a night of fasting in which no meat should be eaten.
In our family, we must have at least thirteen items of food on the table,
as this represented Jesus and his twelve Apostles. Regardless of the religious symbolism,
the point of the meal is to give thanks and gather with family and friends around “The Italian Table”.
For your convenience a suggested gratuity of 20% and sales tax will be added to your total
